It has more impact to the ppl of the country. Give Malaysians hope that we do something which other big countries can do (although about 40 years later). Of course it is paid. But for how much it costs, I think it has double and even triple intangible advantages in terms of boosting the moral of Malaysians, creating diverse skills (with kids interested in aerospace, Mardi creating space food etc). MALAYSIA BOLEH! It is not just sending someone to space for the sake of sending someone to space. It has more impact to the ppl of the country. A say day in the history of malaysia if you ask me, sending someone into space for that sake of sending someone in space doesn't sound good to me.
