Aya Hirano, the voice of Konata in Lucky Star apparently hit the success with the Timotei scene.

From watching Lucky Star, I discovered another anime called ‘The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya‘.
Apparently after much searching, I found the anime on YouTube.com (where else?).
In Lucky Star, actually there are a lot of scenes which refers to and hinting back to this anime. But I guess I just thought they were some japanese cultural jokes.
Now after watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Lucky Star, the jokes are more meaningful! It happens that The Melancholy… was out in 2006 and Lucky Star is out this year (2007). AND! the voices of Haruhi (The Melancholy…) and Konata (Lucky Star) are of the same person, Aya Hirano. Aya Hirano is also a jpop singer.

Both animes are bit hits, especially The Melancholy… a.k.a SOS Brigade. Almost all of the fans could dance to the ending song!! Oh I still have to work up those choreo from Lucky Star muahahaha… — Lucky star –
