Time of the year again… where we had dinner on the Christmas Eve at Annick and Michel’s place. This is the first time that they held the dinner at their new appartment.
Of course the best part is the food, seafood, and pressies!!! Sylvain gave me iPhone Bluetooth headset.. yippieee Merci mon amour!!
We went home just after 3 am. and it was so cold, we had ice on the car.

Yesterday (Friday) was not so good though. Have been rushing all day to do work which I know will never complete in time. I hate it. I hope to end my day with lazying around, cleaning my work mailbox and ready to get home. But no… I still have packed of stuff to do over this holiday season break. At least I got things organized.
I hesitate to put ‘out of office’ message on my mailbox, coz I know that I’ll be checking my work mails from time to time during the break. Tsk tsk tsk… But at least I do not have to be in the office. Yeah, this is my first year of not having to go to the office during the season holiday break. Need to cover lotsa things this weekend. Xmas gifts, salon appointment… and I still dunno what I’m gonna wear for Xmas dinner. Haiyayayaya…
I went to Gap store the other day with Barbara, and things are so expensive there. In US, Gap is not an expensive store. It’s like the H&M. But nooo… when Gap crossed the Atlantic, it because very very expensive. Nothing that you can buy that costs 19.90 Euros. hihihi…

Why they never learn? You know that you will go off for holidays, so prepare ahead! But no. They like to make a last minute changes, to plan based on assumption and to promise the impossible. Perhaps it was done unintentionally (it’s me brain trying to see the positive side).
*Sigh* This smells like a whining entry.
For the next 3 days I will need to drink a lot of water, to do a lot of deep breathing exercise and to have a lot of patience, I mean A LOT. For all I know, they’ll see the back of me at 17:30 p.m this Friday (hihihihi)
This is nuisance… it can’t fit inside neither my wife’s bag nor my pocket… (hihihi)

Shops are filled with people nowadays preparing for the chrismas for sure. Thursday afternoon, the car park of the shopping mall downstairs is full, and yet there are cars queuing to enter anyway. This weekend also, most shops are open on Sundays. Next Sundays as well.
Above all places where I like most during the festive season, is the Market. The nearest market and where I always get my fresh stocks is the Marche Central. Crowds can be nerve wrecking, especially if you are in a store where there are lotsa people, crying babies and heater up to the max! But not at the market. Although it’s busy there, but it’s a good hustle and bustle. People buying their stocks for special dinners, placing their order for the coming dinner. That’s the real festive spirit!
As for us.. as usual, we’ve prepared chrismas presents earlier. At least the presents idea though. After that, it would be just pickup the order 2 days before chrismas. This year, some of the presents are perishable, so we could not wrap them earlier. We will prepare the presents next Sunday.
Anyway… I brought out our Xmas tree and this year, it is me alone who put the tree up. Last year I got a help from Rini.

If it is part of Apple marketing strategy, then it is a good one! It is the same as Nokia phone in Matrix.

Why people never really show their appreciations on all your hard works and good jobs done. But they just can’t wait to sneak up behind you whenever you are off guard, and caught you red handed. They would point out this one mistake that you did, just because… you are being like everyone else. A normal human being who can make mistakes, who has bad hair day and most importantly…. not a super being that they thought you are.
What a disappointment eh? Anyway, I won’t be like “those” ungrateful, despicable people. Gratitude is the key. So here goes..
