Diamond is girl’s best friend
This week’s case study in Corporate Strategy module is about Blue Nile (www.bluenile.com). Never heard of Blue Nile? It is a leader in online jewelry retail industry. Especially diamonds - engagement rings isk isk. Why my instructor choose this industry?!! why?? huhuhuhu
For the case study, we need to answer several questions mostly about the online jewelry industry, Blue Nile’s SWOT, and of course at how it can compete against rivals. So when doing the research I MUST visit some Blue Nile’s competitors’ websites. Lucky that I don’t have to visit the store itself.. Well it is about online retailers so I stick with websites.
Anyway, I did more of e-window shopping than research hehehehe…
*sigh* So many nice glitters.
I am not much of jewelry wearer, but the look of diamond rings on the website made me ooohh aahhh…
But I find that I like Tiffany’s website more (www.tiffany.com). I dunno, the color of soft blue just warm your heart isk isk.. But then I always use my head than my heart. Why would I spend like thousands of dollar just for a ring? Yeah yeah it is not any ring, it is THE ring. But then, I would feel guilty of wearing it. Unless… if I bought it with my hard earned money. I think I would be proud wearing it. *sigh* Guess I have to work hard then. *sigh*
But then I’m happy of my diamond ring
I don’t think any tiffany can match it. *swoon*
