I just got an email today from a real estate agent that I met last Monday and he said that the owner of the apartment that I am interested in is asking more information about family situation and work. I have been renting in Sydney, KL and Nancy, and never had this problem to sign a deal. Come on man.. I have said that I have the money and good job!
I talked with a real estate agent last week and she said that even her is fed-up with landlord in Brussels because they always bitchy and take their own sweet time to choose a tenant. I dunno if they had so many bad people there who didn’t pay the lease or to pack up and leave. But they definitely need to loosen up a bit!
I really hope to sign on this apartment. It is the “best” that I’ve visited and I just want to do the moving. Looking for apartment is never fun!
This is like the most tiring week and no I was on days off! I arrived in Nancy by train at 19:33 today and just cannot wait to be at home. I think it’s because on 5 days, I did sleep in for only 1 day and the other 4 days I had to wake up early, even earlier than the normal working day! huhuhu
Monday I left for Brussels in a two-days mission to visit and find an apartment. As I checked into the hotel, armed with the map and list of appointments, I’m off by walk. The idea is to find an apartment that is within walking distance to my new workplace. First appointment was cancelled, because the apartment has been taken, and the landlord kind of forgot to inform the agent. Out of 4 appointments I had that afternoon, I only did 2. Anyway, I am so happy for my apartment checklist which I brought with me during the visits. It helped me to stay focus.
Then had dinner with Barby. At least I won’t feel too “depressed”. During the afternoon, I managed to looked up new apartment offers on the net. So I scored 2 new appointments on Tuesday. So that would offset those that were taken.
And walking and walking.. my god! I was so tired. And when I was so tired, I felt hungry, but just don’t think I want to eat. Tuesday, start early as well. I won’t talk about each appartment I’ve visited. Make me tired just the thought of it. I had to cancel Tuesday appointment at 19:00 because I was soooo tired and my feet are killing me.
On top of that I had to wake up early to catch 6:50 flight to Dublin huhuhuhu…
Cut story short, I slept only 3-4 hours, and guess what? The flight was delayed about 8 hrs. Mother f*cker! Thanks for internet, I managed to kill some times thought I really like to kill Ryan air! My body was too tired and I was just hangin there. I just want to get on the plane and arrive in Dublin in time for……..
NKOTB concert!! hahahahaha
Now this is the highlight of the week!!!
Rini and Adrian picked me up at the airport and after trashing all my stuff at the rented apartment, we’re off to dinner on the way to O2.
It was a seated place we got, so no hurry. I thought that it’s going to be sux because we gonna be far from the stage. But so surprise to see how close we are! huhuhu
I’m gonna load the photos and vids. No words can describe what I felt that time. Well, I felt like I was 15 years old. I remembered that NKOTB had concert in Singapore and how I wish I could go. And at that time, I knew that if I was at that concert, it would be just like that!
Yeah yeah, people said they are old, they are not popular anymore. But what matters, I get to re-live my youth.
Ok so next morning, slept in and lost my voice. Worth it!
Today (friday) back to Brussels and to Nancy! yay!!!!
